The Pulsar Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between STEM education and industry expertise to inspire the next generation of space leaders. This summer, they are hosting immersive, two-week programs designed as a university prep for high school students passionate about space and engineering.
Open to students in grades 9–12, this program offers a unique opportunity to explore career paths in space, aerospace, and engineering before entering post-secondary education. Participants will work on real satellite systems, tour spacecraft manufacturing facilities, and even send a student-built component to space.
What Pulsar Academy Has to Offer
Hands-on Learning Experience:
Students will gain foundational knowledge of satellite subsystems through interactive and engaging daily lectures led by industry experts.
Practical Skills Development:
Participants will leave the program with experience in design, Python programming, coding, soldering, and assembling a CubeSat.

Each student will receive components to build parts that will be launched on a future Galaxia mission!
