As part of 2017 celebrations, Parks Canada and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site are pleased to welcome the RCMP Musical Ride to the Garrison Grounds for two special performances. A spectacle known around the world, the RCMP Musical Ride is performed by a full troop of 32 riders and their horses. Their performance, consisting of intricate figures and drills choreographed to music, demands the utmost control, timing and coordination.

Gates open at 1:00 pm. Admission is FREE with a food or cash donation to FEED Nova Scotia. Seating is general admission, on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and find a place on Citadel Hill overlooking the Garrison Grounds. There will be limited accessible seating and accessible parking at the venue.

Enjoy a pre-show performance starting at 1:30 pm by the Halifax Junior Bengal Lancers and the Halifax Citadel Regimental Association’s 78th Highlanders.

The RCMP Musical Ride begins at 2:00 pm.
