We are so used to driving hastily to get from point A to point B that sometimes we forget to slow down and take in the scenery. While we do not recommend you do this while driving, we want to remind you that the walking lanes across the Angus MacDonald memorial Bridge are there to help you slow down and take it all in.

The bridge itself is a great piece of engineering and architecture, and you can’t beat the view! This is a side of Halifax and Dartmouth you cannot see while driving. The 1.6 km walk takes about 20 mins to complete and will bring you close to Dartmouth’s downtown core where you can shop, and take in the local food and art galleries. This is unless you are going the other way, in that case, there is plenty of fun to be had on the Halifax side too!
