This summer, you can get your kids off their screens and outside having a blast on the gorgeous Saskatchewan River. Saskatoon Racing Canoe Club Summer Camp is ready for another amazing season. Is your child itching to get on the water? They can take part in a week of fun on and off the river with a focus on kayaking! There will be no better summer experience than paddling the week away. It’s the perfect opportunity for your kids to learn a great new skill or improve on something they love and have a week full of adventure. They will have a week full of sunshine, water, exercise, friendship and laughter. This fun summer camp is for kids between the ages of 9 and 13! Paddle for Fun… Race to Win. The Saskatoon Racing Canoe Club (SRCC) trains in sprint canoe and kayak racing, promoting discipline, excellence, and sportsmanship. SRCC began in 1985 while they prepared for the 1989 Canada Summer Games in Saskatoon and have sent athletes to the Olympics and World Championships.

Join a week of fun on and off the river with various exciting screen-free activities. These camps run Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) from 9 am to 4 pm with a strong focus on kayaking. A Saskatoon Racing Canoe Club Camp will build your child’s skills and confidence on the water and teach them about river safety! The Development Program is for kids 11 and older. This program starts in April and runs through September. Athletes train 4 times per week and are invited to join Regattas in Saskatchewan during the summer months. This is a great opportunity for kids looking for a consistent summer sport with lots of time on the water.
