Sufi Whirling with Heather Grove
Whirling is a moving meditation that relaxes and opens the mind. There are a few different types of Whirling, But Sufi Whirling originates from the religion Sufism. The whirling presented here is untraditional, which can be seen in the music and costume design.

Sharing Our Stories Through Colour with Jason Macza – Join Wonderhub for an amazing opportunity to design and create with Saskatoon Makerspace! Learn fun, new techniques to create art that expresses who you are. Held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 10:00-12:00 at the Wonderhub Performance Hall.

Stories Through Poetry in Persian Culture with Jasmine Shahbazi Doran – Poetry has been an important form of storytelling in Iranian culture for thousands of years! Come and learn how Persian culture has used poetry to tell stories and then try your hand at telling your story with poetry! Participants will hear and see some examples of English-translated Persian poetry, be given an exercise to help create their own poetry, and have the opportunity to “illuminate” their poems. Held on Sunday October 3, 2021 10:00-12:00 at the Wonderhub Performance Hall.

Reading with Royalty – The YXE Drag Collective is an organization aimed at virilizing queer art through charitable productions and shows across Saskatchewan.
This amazing group has a selection of LGBT acceptance and gender non-conformity books, that were all prevalent aspects of their own lives growing up. The books are “Mary Wears What She Wants” by Keith Negley, “I’m a Girl!” by Yasmeen Ismail, and “Julian is a Mermaid” by Jessica Love. Held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, 2:00-4:00 at the Performance Hall.
