The Saskatoon Public Library is excited to host a number of online events honouring Aboriginal Storytelling Month in Canada.

4. Spend your Family Day with Saskatoon’s Favourite: Singing with Sylvia

Make this Monday a Music Monday! Singing with Sylvia continues to make Mondays a little brighter! Join her on Facebook live at 10 am on Mondays to sing and dance together! If you miss Monday, you can find the video Tuesday on Youtube.

5. Check out the Winter City Snow Glow

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is pleased to share Winter City Snow Glow. It is a winter wonderland of lighting designs to help brighten your winter.

6. Kick off your week with Fireworks

Nutrien Fireworks Festival presents a Valentine’s Special on February 13 to kick off Family Week. This special show is only accessible through an online streaming platform.

7. Take the Family Sledding

Winter is a long season in Saskatoon. Why not make the best of it with the family at a tobogganing hill near you!?

8. Feed a chickadee

It’s a winter wonderland at Beaver Creek! That’s why they are open on weekends during the season. This Family Day weekend, discover the natural wonders of the beautiful Saskatchewan ecosystem, enjoy an interpretive adventure and maybe even feed a chickadee!

9. Get Arty with SCYAP

SCYAP offers drop-in hours where families and youth are welcome to drop-in and create art for FREE! Their studio is a positive and safe space that offers creative materials and helpful staff to get you started!

10. Spend your Winter Break at Wanuskewin

Looking for something to do on your February break? Wanuskewin Heritage Park has daily drop-in Programs. Join one of Wanuskewin’s interpretive guides for daily Public Programs during the break!

11. City of Martensville Schools Out Program

Schools Out! Program is in place to keep children in Martensville and area active and busy during their break from school!

12. Enjoy Saskatoon’s Nutrien Wintershines

2021 is looking so much better with Nutrien WinterShines coming back with a safe festival!

13. Remai Modern’s Online Art Camps during February Break

Remai Modern’s online art camps offer fun and innovative artmaking activities to engage your child during the school break.

14. Pike Lake Park

This year celebrate Winter in Pike Lake Park! Try crokicurl, skating on the lake, hike a trail, or try snowshoeing or cross country skiing. It’s winter fun for all ages.

15. Champetre County’s Winter Wonderland Sleigh Rides

Get outside this February break at Champetre County for some Winter Wonderland Sleigh Rides. Bring the family for campfires, Lost Corral Maze, Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides, Skating (helmets are mandatory), and hot chocolate!

16. Indoor Play Centres in Saskatoon!

Take the family to some indoor play centres. There are still many open, and they will be sure to help your kids get rid of some energy while laughing!

17. Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo

Visit the animals, go to the amazing playground, and get a great walk. The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo is always a great time with the family. It’s also a nice place for a socially distant visit with friends. Plus it’s free!
