1. Nutrien Playland = COOL Water Features

Find out 5 great reasons to visit Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park this weekend. Aside from fun-filled rides like the ferris wheel and zipline, this urban park is home to some pretty unique water features that will help your family beat the heat!

2. Folkfest

Celebrate the diverse nature of our beautiful city at Saskatoon’s favourite festival! Folkfest 38 runs Thursday through Saturday featuring 22 amazing pavilions that showcase the many amazing cultures that come together to make up Saskatoon.

3. Rock 102 Show and Shine

Car lovers won’t want to miss Rock 102’s Show and Shine! With great entertainment and the shiniest engines in the bridge city, there won’t be a dull moment.

4. Street Stall Saturdays

Grab a bite to eat on Saturday at one of the fantastic food trucks in Saskatoon! These culinary kitchens on wheels will be gathered across from the Farmer’s Market every Saturday until Labour Day.

5. Bartari All-Ages Hours

Saskatoon’s favourite retro gaming establishment has family hours on weekends! Bring the kids from 11am – 4pm on Saturday or Sunday to join in the fun.

Join Ground Yoga’s FREE all-ages yoga on Saturday morning. Bring your mat, water, and get ready to move!

7. Horse Races at Marquis Downs

Cheer on your favourite horses as they run down the stretch at the Marquis Downs on Friday! This is an affordable and unique event that families will love!

8. Something on Sundays at the Remai

Bring your grannies, kookoms, dads, uncles, and little ones to Something on Sundays at the Remai! This program is included with the price of admission and is an intergenerational drop-in opportunity to create themed art as a family.

9. Cineplex Family Favourites

Looking to beat the heat? There’ll be air-conditioning at Scotiabank Theatre’s $3 showing of Peter Rabbit on Saturday morning.

10. Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan

This year see a featured performance of Titus a puppet revenge, The Merry Wives of Windsor, or Hamlet at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
