Sask Polytechnic has the solution if you have a girl that loves to build and use power tools! Girls Exploring Trades & Technology is a summer camp for females aged 12 to 15! It will be a hands-on and creative camp! Your child will build and assemble a variety of amazing projects throughout the week. She will learn new skills and explore careers in trades and technology. Even better, your young woman can connect with other women in these careers. This camp will highlight the importance of the sciences, math, and industrial arts at the high school level. Campers will have a week of being inspired and come out motivated to follow their dreams. Your daughters will find friends with the same interests as them. They will come out with the confidence to learn more about their passion and work toward a future in it.

Sask Polytechnic teaches students with the ‘learn by doing’ method. The camps are no different. Young women will get knowledge, skills and experience during their week-long camp. Women in Trades and Technology (WITT) supports women to succeed in non-traditional careers. They want to change the trades and technology industries by making them the first choice for women. Girls Exploring Trades and Technology will be to help your young campers see that they can be supported in their future career choices. These Just for Girls camps will encourage the campers and make them feel comfortable doing what they love.
