If your children cannot wait to get into the water this year, Saskatoon Rowing Club Youth Summer Camps might be the perfect solution! The Youth Summer Camps will provide kids with a clear understanding of the skills necessary to effectively and safely maneuver a single scull as well as crew boats. They will have a week of fun on and off the water learning how to do what they love safely. They’ll meet new friends that have the same passion for rowing and they will meet adults and mentors who will encourage a love for adventures on the water.
Campers will learn the basic parts of a boat, the calls, safety guidelines and great rowing techniques! These camps will be run by great coaches who will teach the skills needed all while having fun. Even better, once the athlete has completed the summer camp, they will be offered to join the Junior Development program or Junior Competitive Program.
The Saskatoon Rowing Club rows on the beautiful South Saskatchewan River and is a great place to row through Saskatoon. They provide an avenue for elite and competitive rowers to excel but also encourage recreational and new rowers to enjoy the fine sport of rowing.
