Do you have a child who loves everything about dinosaurs? From Stegosaurs to Ceratosaurs, where are all the Dinosaurs? Look no further than the Museum of Natural Sciences Summer Camps at the University of Saskatchewan! The week-long summer camps are for youth ages 6-10 and will let kids adventure through time. Camp topics, like paleontology, geology, and biology, and activities will be the same each week.
Your children will explore the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods with hands-on science, drama, art, and physical activities. They’ll come home with stories about what they’ve learned and will be excited to return the next day for more adventure and discoveries. Dinosaurs are a big focus, but campers also learn about other prehistoric animals, Earth’s geologic history and how it has shaped our natural world today.
The Museum of Natural Sciences
The Museum of Natural Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan showcases the history of Earth and the evolution of life on it through exhibits and displays that include dinosaur skeleton replicas, fossils, live animals and plants, rocks, and minerals. If your child loves visiting the museum, they’ll also love to attend the camps!
