In 2008, best friends and moms, Melissa and Voula, grew tired of missing out on some of the great family-friendly events and activities in their hometown of Calgary. They put their heads together in search of a solution, decided to start a website that would keep local parents in the know about all the family-friendly opportunities in Calgary and Family Fun Calgary was born. Since that time, these ladies have grown the Family Fun network to include 5 other cities across Canada and introduced the popular Family Fun Canada page which explores travel tips and destinations that hold appeal for Canadian families.
