U-Sask Rec Fall Programs are a great solution to keep your children active as they start their new school year. U-Sask Rec has programs for kids, teens and classes for mom and baby/tot! If you are looking for something extra to keep your children happy and moving this fall, make sure to check out the amazing programs.

The instructors help provide your kids with the chance to learn new skills in a safe and non-competitive environment. Your little ones will meet new friends, stay active and of course, have fun! From swimming to learning about new sports activities, your kids are going to be confident in their new sport and you will be happy they are burning off some extra energy.

Tumbleweeds Programs

Teeny Weeds – Parent and Child classes for ages 18 months to 3 years of age.

The parent and tot classes are a fun experience that encourages parents to learn and play with their little ones.
Date: Tuesdays – September 13 to November 22, 2022
Time: 5 pm to 5:45 pm

Tiny Weeds – Children aged 3 to 4 years.

An introduction to the major movement patterns of gymnastics; springs, swings, balances, locomotions, and rotations.

Date: Mondays – September 12 to November 28, 2022
Time: 5 pm to 5:45 pm

Mini Weeds – Ages 4 – 5 years (Unparented)
Children are motivated by FUN and they use a series of progressions to teach them some exciting movements, cartwheels, handstands and much, much more!

Date: Wednesdays – September 14 to November 23, 2022
Time: 7:00pm to 7:45 pm

Swimming lessons are offered for tots, preschoolers and kids. If you’ve got a little one that loves swimming but needs some extra lessons, look no further! U-Sask Rec offers unparented Red Cross Classes for Preschool ages. They offer parented Red Cross classes for ages 4 to 36 months. Unparented Red Cross Swim Lessons Kids levels are available this fall as well.
