This summer, give your kids an outdoor experience at Wildernook Summer Camps. Your little one will be hooked on nature right here in our own city! Wildernook has age-appropriate learning adventures for campers ages three to twelve to get outside and explore their surroundings. The programs are led by experienced outdoor educators in Saskatoon’s Naturalized Parks who love to pass on their love of nature to the kids.

Summatime Playventures
It is time for an outdoor adventure! Summatime Playventures is a 4-day summer camp series option for the younger ages. Your kids will play hard and get dirty in this play-based nature immersion camp. They will burn energy and develop social and leadership skills. Wildernook welcomes kids filled with curiosity, enthusiasm, and playfulness. The organizers work with the kids to resolve age-appropriate problems as they arise.
The day camps happen outside, all day long, no matter the weather. To ensure your child has a fantastic time please send them in outdoor clothing that is both water-proof and mud-friendly. If the weather deems it necessary kids should bring rain pants, a jacket, and rubber boots.
Times: 9:30 – 12:00 a.m. (ages 3-5) | 1:00 – 4:00 (ages 5 – 9)

Wildernook Outdoor Skills Camp
Wildernook Outdoor Skills Camp is a program for youth ages 7-12 who want more time outdoors to develop independence, problem-solving and outdoor living skills. This program is designed to support participant growth and maximize confidence-building opportunities. Participants will get hands-on learning opportunities that may include: preparing food, setting up a shelter, building a fire, and knife-safety skills. Campers need to provide their own rain gear, day pack, and lunch. This camp is physically active and in order to enjoy the activities planned the kids should be able to comfortably run for 15 minutes and walk for 60 minutes at a time.

Wildernook Enviro-Leadership Camp
The full-day Enviro-Leadership camp creates opportunities for youth to get involved with local sustainability and nature stewardship projects, develop their leadership skills and make friends with shared interests. This program is led by experienced outdoor educators in Saskatoon’s Naturalized Parks.
