Visit Casa Loma This March Break and Step Into a World of Majesty and Enchantment

Gorgeous, fascinating, and thoroughly enchanting! Casa Loma is Canada’s castle, and although we may be a ‘young’ country, this castle will whisk you back to a time of historical grandeur. Plan a day to explore Casa Loma this March Break and visit this majestic castle, one of Toronto’s top tourist attractions.

Casa Loma was completed in 1914 and built by financier Sir Henry Pellatt. It took 300 men nearly three years to complete, costing $3,500,000 (at the time), but it was a family home for less than a decade. Located in midtown Toronto, the castle is now a museum and a treasured heritage landmark. It gives us a peek into the past and a window to what life may have been like for the wealthy in early Canada. Over 650,00 visitors tour the castle and estate gardens every year and you’ll frequently find special events that are enhanced by the exquisite backdrop. The unique Gothic architecture has also made it a desirable location for television, film, and photo shoots!

Bring the whole family to Casa Loma — the kids will be excited to explore a castle! You can visit the elegantly decorated rooms over three levels, including a Conservatory with Italian marble floors and five acres of grounds. You might spot locations that you recognize from movies, too. Exhibits feature early Canadian history, including an antique car exhibit, so there’s a little something for everyone! Multi-media audio guides are included with admission. Kids under 3 are free, and because of multiple stairs, strollers are not recommended. (There is an elevator reserved for guests who require it for accessibility.)

Before you go, enjoy a treat at the Liberty Café and don’t forget to stop by the Gift Shop! Enjoy a spectacular day visiting Casa Loma with your family this March Break. Get your tickets here.
