Get hooked on a new family activity! Together you can fish without a license during Ontario’s Free Family Fishing Weekends. These special events happen periodically in our beautiful province (even in winter) to allow locals and visitors alike to fish without purchasing a license.

Keep in mind that all other fishing regulations still apply, including catch and size limits.

2022 Free Family Fishing Spring/Summer Schedule:

  • Mother’s Day Weekend — May 7-8, 2022
  • Father’s Day Weekend — June 18-19, 2022
  • Family Fishing Week — July 2-10, 2022
