Hockley Valley Bike Camp is ready for action — summer’s right around the corner and adventure awaits! This day camp is great for kids who love to ride their mountain bike and want to ride on real cross-country mountain bike trails.

Mountain bike camps run Monday to Friday for kids aged 8-13, accommodating skill levels from beginner to intermediate. Camp participants spend a minimum of three hours each day riding on Hockley Valley’s newly constructed trail network, guided and taught by their experienced team of instructors. Other daily group activities also take place in the afternoon. Plus, daily snacks and lunch are provided.

All participants need to have a properly fitting mountain bike that is in good working order, including a range of gears, front and rear brakes and knobby tires. Bike suspension is also recommended. If you do not have the proper equipment, bike rentals are available as well. Furthermore, a properly fitted bike helmet is required.

Limited spaces are available each week. Parents/guardians must be complete a waiver by the first day of of camp.

Sample Daily Camp Schedule

8:30am-9:00am — Drop-off and get ready to RIDE!
9:00am-10:00am — Stretch, warm-up ride or Skills Park
10:15am-10:30am — Snack Break
10:30am-12:00pm — Trail Ride
12:00pm-12:45pm — Lunch 1
2:45pm-2:15pm — Trail Ride
2:15pm-2:30pm — Snack Break
2:30pm-4:00pm — Games and Activities
4:00pm-4:30pm — Clean up & Pick Up
