Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) presents “Peter, the Wolf & the Kiwi” as part of their Young People’s Concerts series for three matinée shows.

Two animal adventures come to life through a musical menagerie of performance and narration. Prokofiev’s timeless symphonic fable “Peter and the Wolf” is paired with the world première of “Kiwis Can’t Play the Violin”. By TSO RBC Affiliate Composer Emilie LeBel, it’s based on an original children’s book about the wonders that encouragement can accomplish.

The TSO is led by Barrett Principal Education Conductor & Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser and features Jonathan Crow on violin.

Also of interest to families is the Relaxed Performance series. Patrons are welcome to move around, express themselves vocally or leave the concert hall. Find out more here.
