Earl Bales Ski & Snowboard Centre<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0

\nThe City of Toronto manages this small centre that is a great place to learn and practice locally. Lessons are available on a beginner hill with rope tow and a main hill with two runs and one race hill, which is accessible by four-person chairlift, plus there’s an accessible ski chalet at the top of the main hill.<\/p>\n

Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding \u2014 North of Toronto<\/h3>\n

Blue Mountain Resort<\/a>
\nAddress: <\/strong>190 Gord Canning Drive, Blue Mountains, Collingwood
\n<\/strong>Located 90 minutes north of Toronto, Blue Mountain is the largest ski hill in the province, with an elevation of 720 feet and

Hockley Valley Resort<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Address:<\/strong> 793522 Mono 3rd Line, Mono
\nForty-five minutes north of Toronto, this luxury resort features 15 scenic ski and snowboard runs for all levels, including an upper and lower freestyle terrain park.<\/p>\n

Horseshoe Resort<\/a>
\nAddress: <\/strong>101 Horseshoe Valley Road, Barrie
\n<\/strong>The closest major hill to Toronto, Horseshoe is a fun winter destination for families living in the GTA! There are 29 runs, a terrain park and Ontario\u2019s longest beginner carpet, with something to suit all levels.<\/p>\n

Mount St. Louis Moonstone<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Address:<\/strong> 24 Mount St. Louis Road West, Coldwater
\nThis is a great family-owned ski resort near Barrie with 36 slopes over 170 skiable acres, nine lifts and three carpets. They also have a snowboard park and a small lodge.<\/p>\n

Snow Valley<\/a>

\nTouted as “Ontario’s favourite family resort”, this family-owned ski centre focuses is a great place for beginners to learn skiing and\/or snowboarding with 20 runs and three lifts.<\/p>\n

Brimacombe<\/a><\/strong>

\nThis hill has something for everyone with 22 runs, two terrain parks, four quad chairs, three T-bars, two chalets and a magic carpet. Night skiing is available on 11 runs.<\/p>\n

Dagmar Ski Resort<\/a>

Sir Sam’s ‘s Ski \/ Ride<\/strong><\/a>

\n<\/strong>Sir Sam’s, south of Algonquin Park, offers options for skiing & snowboarding, along with cross-country skiing and a terrain park. With an intimate size of 40 acres of skiable terrain, 6 lifts and 12 trails, you can tackle the entire hill in one day!<\/p>\n

Alpine Ski Club<\/strong><\/a>

\nLocated in the Blue Mountains area of Collingwood, this membership-run club<\/a> offers the most trails of private ski clubs in the area, enough to suit every ability level from first-time skiers to seasoned experts.<\/p>\n

Craigleith Ski Club<\/a><\/strong>
\nAddress:<\/strong> 164 Craigleith Road, Blue Mountains
\nMembers<\/a> of this club between Blue Mountain Resort and Alpine Ski Club enjoy 32 trails that range from easy to expert, with six chairlifts, plus the Funnel Terrain Park and an SBX course constructed mid-winter.<\/p>\n

Devil’s Glen Country Club<\/a><\/strong>

\nDevil\u2019s Glen is an upscale members-only<\/a> hill, just 90 minutes from downtown Toronto. It includes both snow programs and a terrain park.<\/p>\n

Georgian Peaks Club<\/strong><\/a>
\nAddress:<\/strong> 104 Wensley Street, Thornbury
\nSet aside from the Blue Mountain complex and with a beautiful view of Georgian Bay, this smaller hill allows for a more intimate experience for members<\/a>, but with the highest elevation in the area.<\/p>\n

Mansfield Ski Club<\/a>

\nThis membership club<\/a> 80 kilometres northwest of Toronto features 17 beautiful slopes, seven lifts, freestyle terrain and exciting off-snow experiences.<\/p>\n

Osler Bluff Ski Club<\/a><\/strong>
\nAddress:<\/strong> 795534 The Blue Mountains, Clearview Townline, Blue Mountains
\nOsler Bluff has one of the highest ski hills in Ontario with a vertical drop of 755 feet. Members<\/a> ski on 20 runs spread over 130 acres, plus a terrain park and pipe.<\/p>\n
