Now that more than 10 Million people in Ontario aged 12 and up have received at least one COVID-19 vaccination dose, including almost 80% of adults so far, public health restrictions are starting to loosen (though not disappear) and businesses in Toronto are slowly beginning to reopen. However, things will continue to look different than they did pre-covid. Businesses have had to pivot and implement all sorts of new strategies for keeping our city safe and healthy.<\/p>\n

Ontario has just entered Stage 3 of the 2021 reopening plan, described as “expanding access to indoor settings, with restrictions, including where there are larger numbers of people and where face coverings can\u2019t always be worn”. Further information by the Ontario government is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

City-Run<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Beaches <\/strong>– Toronto’s swimming beaches are open for the 2021. More information here<\/a>, and be sure to check water conditions before you go here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Riverdale Farm<\/strong> – Open with reduced capacity, indoor spaces open on July 26<\/strong>, with free admission every day. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Splash pads <\/strong>– Open for the 2021 season. Kidstown Water Park opens on August 5<\/strong>. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
