Break out of your Winter doldrums and bounce into Spring with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra<\/a>\u00a0(TSO) as they get funky with\u00a0\u201cLet\u2019s Dance\u201d<\/a>, the last concert in their\u00a0Young People\u2019s Concerts<\/a>\u00a02025\/2026 season series. This matin\u00e9e performance features dance music from around the world, from ballet to breakdancing to bhangra. Not only that, but this interactive and energetic concert also includes a talented cast of dancers and performers accompanying the TSO, sure to thrill audiences with their beautiful costumes, stunning choreography, and eclectic melodies.<\/p>\n

TSO Barrett Principal Education Conductor & Community Ambassador Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser conducts\u00a0\u201cLet\u2019s Dance\u201d<\/a>\u00a0with endearing enthusiasm, inviting audiences to explore, dream, and make some noise, too! Recommended for kids aged 4\u201310, music lovers young and old will be tapping their toes and dancing in their seats. Along with international music styles, the wide-ranging program includes hits from past and present, including excerpts from Tchaikovsky\u2019s\u00a0Swan Lake<\/em>, Leonard Bernstein\u2019s\u00a0West Side Story<\/em>, and even Bruno Mars\u2019 \u201cUptown Funk\u201d!<\/p>\n

As with previous instalments of their\u00a0Young People\u2019s Concerts<\/a>, the\u00a0Toronto Symphony Orchestra<\/a> (TSO) invites patrons to enjoy free activities an hour before the show! Concertgoers can try out instruments at the Instrument Discovery Zone and also have fun at the Music Playground. As a special treat for this performance, audiences can join a workshop led by the Joy of Dance Centre! Don\u2019t miss these activities, taking place in the North Lobby at 1:00 PM \u2013 1:20 PM for the 1:30 PM performance, and at 3:30 PM \u2013 3:50 PM for the 4:00 PM show.<\/p>\n
