Gateway Theatre brings L.M Montgomery’s beloved Canadian novel Anne of Green Gables to the stage this December with Anne of Green Gables: The Musical. This timeless story centers around a freckle-faced, red-haired orphan who arrives at Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert’s home and forever transforms the lives of those she meets. She infuses life and laughter into the sleepy town of Avonlea with her unquenchable love of melodrama and romance, fierce personality, and determination to find her place within the world. Anne’s incredible imagination both captivates and concerns those around her, but it is her heart, her acceptance of others, and her love of family that shine through.

A performer since she was seven years old, Kyra Leroux returns to Gateway Theatre in the well-known role of Anne. Audiences may recognize her as Britta Beach from Netflix’s hit show Riverdale.
