Did you know that the Surrey school district is the largest in the province? Just think of all the budding artists based in the large network of secondary schools! More than 50 artists are sharing their work with the public: drawings, paintings, collages, photographs, and prints. The students’ artwork tell meaningful stories about who they are and how they fit into our complex world. Their teachers have generated statements sharing the artwork’s connections to curricular competencies that drove the artmaking process.
Attending the gallery showing is free but you must pre-book your visit. Register for your session (Tues & Thurs from 4pm – 7pm; Sat from 10am -3pm) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 604-501-5566, press 1.
