The Vancouver Whitecaps are going above and beyond to support the Vancouver Aquarium.
You may have read last week that the Vancouver Aquarium is very concerned about going bankrupt during the COVID-19 quarantine. Under normal circumstances the Aquarium receives more than $3 million in revenue through visits from the public each month. Now the doors are closed but the 70,000 animals still need to be fed.
Together the Vancouver Aquarium and the Vancouver Whitecaps are raising funds to help save the aquarium. The jointly-branded facemasks are washable, breathable, and made in Vancouver. The Whitecaps also claim they are the most comfortable masks on the market.
The athletic-quality masks are available in four unique designs. Adult masks are $19.99 and kid’s are $17.99 (plus tax and shipping).
Rest assured 100% of the proceeds are being directed to keep the doors of the Vancouver Aquarium open (at least open to the public once COVID-19 passes).
