March 14, 2020: This event has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
Pooh Bear is a beloved figure in our home. Our eldest son’s nursery was decorated with Winnie the Pooh and, more than a decade later, Pooh Bear is still the stuffie who receives cuddles every night. Needless to say our family can’t wait to attend the Carousel Theatre for Young People production of The House at Pooh Corner.
In the BC premiere of The House at Pooh Corner, the audience witness Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends, including the beloved Christopher Robin, embarking on a string of engaging adventures. The charm of the friendships shared in this beautiful stage adaptation of A.A. Milne’s book blends enchanting puppetry and wonderful music into a story that transports audiences right into the Hundred Acre Wood!
The House at Pooh Corner, a puppetry without strings performance, is recommended for ages 3 to 8, or anyone who absolutely loves the bear of very little brain who just can’t ever get enough honey. The performance is 60 minutes long.
Families looking for a relaxed performance will enjoy the 2pm show on March 7th. There are also budget-friendly performances on March 20th at 11am and 2pm.
Ticket prices: $35 (adults), $29 (seniors/students), $18 (kids aged 3-18 years)
