Let your child’s imagination soar with CTORA Academy Summer Camps! Dive into the exciting world of theatre and experience the magic of putting on a full-scale production. Affiliated with CTORA Theatre, which puts on shows throughout the year, CTORA Academy offers a production-based, high-quality musical theatre program to children from Grade four to Grade 12 in Vancouver and Richmond. As a non-profit organization, CTORA Academy Summer Camp proceeds go to support CTORA Theatre productions throughout the year. By enrolling your child with CTORA Academy Summer Camps, your child will not only receive a top-quality theatre experience, but your enrollment fees will go to growing the CTORA annual productions, providing jobs for professional theatre artists.
This summer, CTORA Academy is thrilled to present Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr., a remount of the 2018 sold-out production of The Little Mermaid Jr. Campers and audiences will join the world of Ariel, Sebastien, and Flounder as they are transported underwater for this fun and upbeat musical. Your child will have the opportunity to be part of a high-quality musical production guided by industry professionals. From learning lines and music to perfecting choreography, campers at CTORA Academy will work closely with a Director, Music Director, Choreographer, and an entire creative team.
CTORA Academy Summer Camps run Monday-Friday from July 4th to July 23, 2023. From 10am-4pm each day, campers will be actively engaged in acting, singing, dancing and having fun as they work collaboratively to bring this production to fruition. For families who need it, carpool arrangements are available to and from CTORA Academy each day. Campers will perform their one-hour production of Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr. to the public in a series of multiple performances at the end of the camp.
