The Jungle Book, by Rudyard Kipling, is a beloved childhood classic telling the coming-of-age story of Mowgli. The young boy, raised by wolves deep in the Indian jungle, learns the codes of the hunter from Baloo (the bear), Bagheera (the panther) and Akela (the wolf). It is when Mowgli is pitted against the tiger he has to find his courage and stand up for himself.

While the synopsis sounds a bit scary, rest easy knowing the talented team at the Carousel Theatre for Young People are experts at putting on shows for children. The Jungle Book performance is intended for children aged 6+ years and their families. The hour long performance does not have an intermission.
