Once again TELUS is the sponsor of the Vancouver Santa Claus Parade. Come out and join in on the family fun pre-parade festivities (10am – noon) outside the Vancouver Art Gallery! There will be live entertainment on the main stage, decorate a gingerbread man, write a letter to Santa and much more! The parade will start at West Georgia and Broughton (at 12:00 pm), travel east along West Georgia, turn south on Howe and finish at Howe and Davie. This year’s event features more than 65 marching bands, floats and choirs with more than 2500 participants.
Please remember to bring a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank when you attend the Santa Claus Parade. This event is the BIGGEST fundraiser for the food bank every year. Volunteers will be on-hand to collect non-perishable food items and cash donations. For every $1 donated, the Food Bank purchases $3 of food in turn.
