Does anyone else cross their fingers and toes for snow every year? Yes, I’m one of the snow-lovers. I know many people in Metro Vancouver aren’t fans of the white stuff (at least not fans when the white stuff falls any place other than the mountains). But last winter offered endless snow-fun for the kids (and us big kids who masquerade as adults). But regardless of whether we get snow at sea level we can always count on our mountains for oodles of snow. Many of us have gone downhill skiing but how many have tried snowshoeing<\/a> or cross-country (aka Nordic) skiing? Maybe this year is your chance to try a new sport as a family.<\/p>\n
