I still vividly remember the first time we took our sons to Steveston. My husband and I had visited many times, wandered the streets nibbling on fish & chips. I don’t know about you but when I had kids I started noticing things I’d missed seeing for years. Fuzzy brown & orange caterpillars for example. I swear that species completely disappeared for 20 years of my life. I played with them when I was a kid and then I never saw them again. But the fuzzy little creatures re-emerged once I had toddlers in tow. I have to say the same for the Splash Toy Shop<\/a> in Steveston. I somehow completely missed seeing the store during my pre-motherhood meanders, but WOW did the store ever stand out once we had kids. Seriously, I’m pretty sure children are equipped with toy-store-radar. We were seemingly blocks away from the Splash Toy Shop, our boys picked up the scent, and immediately began tugging on our hands, dragging us to the wonders that awaited inside.<\/p>\n

I love Splash Toy Shop for their well-rounded stock that appeals to a wide range of ages. The company started in 1991 and is a family-owned business. The store does a fantastic job of featuring classic retro toys, a wide selection of board games & puzzles, plus all the newest must-have toys that your kids will be BEGGING you to purchase.<\/p>\n

When you walk through the doors of Splash Toy Shop you will be greeted by wooden floors, play areas for kids, and options upon options to satisfy your shopping needs. From chew toys and manipulatives for infants, to science kits, LEGO and active toys for the big kids, the selection borders on overwhelming. But never fear! The staff at Splash Toy Shop is ready and eager to help you find whatever it is you seek. Chat to them about the person you are shopping for and in very short order you will be shown a number of gift ideas that will be perfect!<\/p>\n
