It\u2019s a foodie paradise at BC Place. No joke! Sure you can still get chicken fingers, fries, and hot dogs. But thanks to the vision of the executive chef, William Tse, the dining experience at BC Place has been revolutionized. This ain\u2019t your typical stadium grub!<\/p>\n

Fried chicken and waffles<\/p><\/div>\n

Striving for culinary excellence and a commitment to making as much food in house as possible means fresh, flavourful and extraordinary dining options. We had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of foodie treats during the BC Lions season opener against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Wild Beast carved prime rib sandwich combined an exceptionally tender cut of meat with caramelized onions and \u00a0a delicate horseradish sauce on a brioche bun.<\/p>\n

BC Place has also mastered a wide variety of ethnic food! Order sushi and you are treated to a trio delicacies: a veggie roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a melt-in your mouth house-cured BC sockeye salmon sushi. The chef presses the rice and the salmon in a special mold they had made. And to finish, in the style of aburi style sushi, they flame the surface to give it added depth and flavour.<\/p>\n

Equally drool-worthy is the butter chicken poutine. My husband misguidedly thought we should share an order; I needed my own serving, the poutine was that good!<\/p>\n

\"BCNew for the 2019 season is Beast Unleashed. The success of Beast On Fire was the inspiration behind this new street meats booth. Beast Unleashed offers the Beyond Meat burger as well as chicken, shrimp, or prime rib tacos. You can find Beast Unleashed in section 230.<\/p>\n

\"BCThe next time you are in BC Place check out the foodie booths. From Korean chicken rice bowls to Chana masala, and from house-made beef jerky to the Outrageous Burger, your taste buds will be wowed by the foodie delights created by the culinary staff at BC Place.<\/p>\n

Editor’s Note: I was incredibly impressed by BC Place’s attitude towards food allergies. My son has a life-threatening allergy to peanuts. I was wowed by both their honesty in their abilities (they can’t control whether guests bring peanuts into the venue) and their accommodations for my son. The head chef went out of his way to explain the process BC Place follows to ensure the safe dining experience of their guests.
