Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics<\/a> is offering half-day and full-day summer camps that will keep your child engaged, learning, and physically active. Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics is one of Canada’s largest and most successful clubs. Operating in two facilities – both located in Vancouver – the club consistently produces some of Canada’s top gymnasts who are successful at both the provincial and national levels.\"Vancouver<\/a><\/p>\n

But don’t let their impressive credentials scare you off! Summer camps are the perfect opportunity to try something new. If your child has never set a toe on a gym mat, that’s perfectly fine! The coaches and camps are structured so that any level of experience will thrive. With a focus on physical literacy, campers will build strength, flexibility, and coordination, learn new skills, and explore various gymnastics disciplines. The fun and supportive atmosphere ensures every camper feels successful!<\/p>\n

\"Vancouver<\/a><\/p>\n

Scamper Camp:<\/a><\/h3>\n

Preschool-aged kids (ages 3-4) enjoy a week-long camp experience, 2 hours each day. Qualified coaches engage scampers in fun and age-appropriate games and activities to learn basic gymnastics skills, with snack time and secondary activities (storytime and crafts) for moments of rest. No prior experience is required. This camp runs at the Treehouse Gym from 10:30 am- 12:30 pm, or from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Half-Day School-Aged Camp:<\/a><\/h3>\n

For children ages 5-12 years, this one-week camp is the perfect opportunity to learn new skills for 3.5 hours each day, and each camp includes a craft time. Qualified coaches support little athletes in acquiring basic gymnastics skills while having fun moving and exploring a wide variety of age-appropriate equipment at Phoenix Gymnastics. These camps are broken up by age into Junior (ages 5-7) and Senior (Ages 8-12). Half-day camps run in three different time slots, offering ultimate flexibility for families. Both Jr. & Sr campers can select 10:30 am-2:00 pm to fill the bulk of the day, or you can opt for a more traditional morning or afternoon time (8:30 am-12:00 pm\/12:30 pm-4:00 pm).<\/p>\n

\"Vancouver<\/a><\/p>\n

Full-Day School-Aged Camp:<\/a><\/h3>\n

If your child is aged 5-12, they can enroll in a full-day camp that runs at the Millennium Gym location from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and offers a whole lot of exploration, practice, and physical activity. Each camp is customized to the skills of the participants. Beginners will learn introductory skills, while those athletes with experience will focus on increasing their skill level. In addition to gymnastics instruction, the camp will include a daily snack break, lunch break, reading, colouring or crafts, and TONS of time on the gymnastics equipment! Plus, campers enrolled in the full-day option will also participate in outings during the week to places such as local playgrounds, skating rinks, swimming pools, or even the Bloedel Conservatory!<\/p>\n
