It’s time to follow Alice through the rabbit hole and discover a world that’s curiouser and curiouser. From April 7 – 16, Gateway Theatre invites families to come and enjoy the BC premiere of In Wonderland. In this imaginative and contemporary retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic novels, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, three actors fantastically portray the story’s iconic characters, transforming right before your eyes.</del>

<del>The performance is suitable for both adults and children alike but recommended for ages 6+. Audience members will be swept away by theatrical magic as the stage spectacularly metamorphosizes. And just when we thought the chameleon Cheshire Cat was impressive.</del>

<del>This spring revisit these timeless stories in a newly imagined way and be guided through a journey of self-discovery, as Alice reflects upon questions like “Who am I?” and “Where do I really want to be?”</del>

<del>Covid considerations: Gateway Theatre acknowledges that everyone has different comfort levels when heading back into the theatre. Although the Province of BC has declared there are no capacity limits for indoor events as of February 16, 2022, Gateway Theatre will still run all performances with a reduced audience capacity and physically distanced seats. This will mean that seats immediately in front of, behind, and on either side of you will be kept clear.</del>

<del>Tickets for In Wonderland start at $29! That’s amazing for live performances. But Gateway Theatre is doing one better. To ensure that everyone can experience live theatre, no matter their budget, they are hosting Pay What You Will. On preview night – April 7 – audience members will have the ability to select a price point that works for them ranging from $5-$55. For those who have the means to, Gateway Theatre highly recommends selecting a price point that you are willing to pay or consider adding a donation to your purchase in support of their accessibility efforts.</del>

<del>The performance runs 1 hour and 40 minutes plus a 15-minute intermission.
