Can you feel the excitement? Are your kids already talking about the fun they’ll have at the Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan? We have great news for you: this arts-based festival is back and better than ever. Your children will have four days to play, learn and be introduced to cultural events, artistic experiences, activities and performances. The Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan has made children and parents smile for 35 years and this year will be no different with activities created with your children in mind.
This is an inclusive festival and offers multicultural programming as well as maintaining accessible programs for children to play and learn together. Each day of the festival will help bring fun to the children and leave them with amazing memories. Festival Line-Up
There will be a Blue Sky Stage for your kids to enjoy the mahihkanak Dance Troupe, Bollywood dancing with Karima Essa, a two-person circus on wheels – Rolling Moves, Robin Layne’s marimba-filled Journey into Rhythm, Wild Mint Arts and Bowtie Guy & Ms. Muzik. The Big Top Tent will include a beautiful theatre performance of Yassama and the Beaded Calabash as well as musical joy with Will et Seeka: Friends with Everyone. These stages are great for your kids to enjoy some Saskatchewan talent and be entertained by music and dancing. Also enjoy roving performances from Matt Henry and his Big Bubble Show, Dan the One Man Band, The High Roller and hood-dancing with Lawrence Roy Jr.!

Your kids will be busy all day long discovering new activities around the festival site. This will be a wonderful chance to learn new things while having the time of their lives. These activities will stick with your children years after the festival and they will have lasting memories of the fun they had. Families will love exploring the festival and trying everything out: take a wander through the hedge maze, see what you can dig up at Fossil Find and so much more!
Virtual Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan
The Free Virtual Festival online entertainment will include Raven Stories and Songs with Kung Jaadee, Seeka Sings in concert with her new album “I Belong” and Red Sky Performance’s theatrical production of Mistatim. This year will be the 5th Annual Virtual Festival with free programming for kids across Saskatchewan and beyond.
