With three locations in Mississauga and Oakville, kids can learn kitchen skills to build their confidence and develop their creativity and curiosity.
At these summer camps, children and teens cook nutritious snacks and tasty meals while developing life skills to become healthy and self-reliant. Meanwhile, COOKSMART summer camps let kids be kids, complete with creative fun and science in the kitchen.
COOKSMART ਬਾਰੇ
The goal of COOKSMART is to inspire families to teach kids basic cooking skills to help them make better food choices for lifelong healthy eating. When kids get involved in meal planning and food preparation, it greatly benefits their families. Not only do busy parents get more help in the kitchen, but they can also have fun with their kids. Plus, then they get to have a delicious meal together!
COOKSMART aims to inspire families and teach kids basic cooking skills, which in turn helps them make better food choices for lifelong healthy eating. As the campers build their confidence in the kitchen, they work towards full independence. Not to mention, these lessons include healthy foods with plenty of allergy-friendly and vegetarian options.
COOKSMART ਮਲਟੀ-ਕੈਂਪ
Do you have a child at home who likes to eat? Get them cooking at COOKSMART summer camps where beginner cooks and bakers aged 5-12 stay busy and learn important life skills at the same time.
Plus, lunch and snacks are included! The daily menu consists mainly of vegetarian options, including lots of fruit and veggies, as well as cheese. Rest assured that all selections are nut-free, and food allergies and/or dietary issues can be accommodated.
Not only that, but COOKSMART summer camps also include fun weekly themes — try them all!
- Cookies and Cauldrons — “Accio, cookies!” The magic of baking collides with the mystical wonder of wizardry in this unforgettable week of culinary delights and enchantment! The COOKSMART kitchen transforms into a magical realm filled with culinary delights.
- Passport to Cooking — Kids can travel the world through food at this camp, discovering different flavours such as Indian spices to Japanese sushi. Campers explore the origins of different foods and dive into the fascinating world of culinary traditions.
- Kitchen Safari — In this camp, kids are immersed in an adventurous world of wild flavours and culinary creativity. The campers celebrate the untamed beauty of the wilderness, such as discovering nature’s pantry on Turtle Island and creating edible animal tracks.
- ਪਾਵਰ ਅਪ — Inspired by video games, COOKSMART’s Power UP Summer Camp is a culinary adventure creating delicious and power-packed meals! Don’t miss this epic culinary quest where food meets fantasy.
- ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਅੱਧਾ-ਦਿਨ — For ages 13+, this half-day program allows the smaller group of chefs to build their kitchen skills even further to help them become fully independent in the kitchen.
