Every Saturday throughout February, Bata Shoe Museum hosts family-friendly Exhibition Tours and creative activities in honour of Black History Month to focus on Black excellence and contributions to culture through footwear by Black artists, workers, and diasporic communities. Before or after the tour, families can get creative at self-guided activity stations to learn about shoes that highlight Black culture, have fun in the Try-On Shoes area, and pick up an iSpy card to go on a self-guided museum scavenger hunt.
(Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times while in the museum.)
