Orchestra Toronto presents Darth Vader Meets The Godfather, their first concert that is dedicated entirely to film music! In this exciting new addition to the concert season, the program features orchestral scores of cinema, including John Williams’ epic “Star Wars” score, which uses recurring musical motifs to represent characters and ideas throughout the films, and Nino Rota’s evocative music for “The Godfather”, which blends Sicilian folk influences and classical forms.
