Tammuz Festival, Tirgan Centre for Art & Culture’s in-person festival, returns this summer with many free and ticketed events for all ages, featuring many well-known artists, children and youth programs. There are also numerous Iranian culinary experiences to enjoy as well as a teahouse.
Of special interest to families are free performances, such as the live musical composition of the classic fairy tale “Peter & The Wolf” and lively dance performances by the Vancouver Pars National Ballet. In addition, further events include pottery workshops, song and story circle time, puppet show and calligraphy. There is also an artisans marketplace, Iranian culinary experience and other ticketed music performances.
