Is your child curious about medical science and looking to have the ultimate STEM adventure this summer? When kids come down with a bad case of the summer doldrums, Medics Camp has the diagnosis for fun! With seven locations in Toronto and the GTA, Medics Camp offers fun and engaging STEM-certified summer camps again this year. Young geniuses aged 6-17 can discover the world of medical science and also learn exciting life skills.
Why Choose Medics Camp?
At Medics Camp, kids get to be doctors for a week and spend an unforgettable summer of learning and medical adventures! With unique age-based programs and themes for kids and teens, the immersive Medics Camp experience offers participants tailored programs for each age group and thoughtfully curated hands-on activities daily.
In these medical science-based STEM-accredited programs, they also learn about different medical professions, use real medical equipment, explore medical specimens, and learn real-world skills like first aid, all while having fun and making new friends!
This year, Medics Camp is celebrating its 10th season with numerous milestone events. First, they were acknowledged by the industry leader STEM.org for being ranked in the Top 10% of STEM-accredited programs worldwide! They also noted the exciting milestone of having 4,000 kids in their camps, helping to build a better future for science and healthcare. In addition, they established the first Medics Camp scholarship! This award will be presented in June 2026 to a graduating high school student who has worked or volunteered at Medics Camp, helping them continue their educational path in health care.
Investigate the Innovative Summer Programs of Medics Camp!
At Medics Camp, kids can immerse themselves in the world of medicine throughout the summer. Every day is a new and fascinating experience! In fact, Medics Camp delivers age-appropriate programs through hands-on activities, all designed to ignite their intellectual curiosity and passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). These camps maintain a relaxed summer camp environment that encourages teamwork and friendship while challenging the young minds. Meanwhile, each age group has its own unique programming, including a dedicated camp room, instructor and counsellors.
Medics Camp offers three distinct age-based summer programs — Discover, Explore, and Forensic Medicine — that each feature new daily topics. With tailored activities, experiments, games, and crafts, these unique experiences provide kids with engaging and educational STEM adventures while highlighting various medical professionals. Then, the Medics Camp teen program, FALCON, focuses on learning and practicing first aid skills, as well as developing leadership abilities.
Discover! (Ages 6-12)
Kids, get ready to scrub in like real doctors, and find out all about the human body in fun and creative ways! In the Discover program, campers explore science and go inside the world of healthcare heroes. Through hands-on, skill-based activities, participants uncover how our hearts beat, our lungs breathe, and even discover how our bodies heal. By enrolling in this STEM.org–accredited program, your child will develop their curiosity, analytical thinking, and communication skills while working in small groups.
Explore! (Ages 6-12)
With the Explore theme, kids can step into the real world of healthcare professionals! Campers delve into various parts of the human body to challenge their senses and perform mock surgeries. Kids become veterinarians and learn how to care for pretend pets, learn about the human brain and observe a real sheep’s brain and take a journey through the digestive and urinary system, even examining kidney specimens. Throughout the week, kids participate in hands-on activities that strengthen their STEM and first aid skills.
Forensic Medicine (Ages 5-12)
Do your kids love medical mysteries? In the Forensic Medicine camp, they become a doctor detective for a week! This STEM.org–accredited program helps kids develop their observational skills as well as their analytical thinking and investigative skills. In addition, this camp combines medicine and mystery, where campers can explore subjects such as DNA, toxicology, bones, pathology, entomology, trace evidence, and hands-on medical investigations. As with the other Medics Camp themes, these topics and activities are age-based, and special care has been taken to ensure the content is educational and fun, rather than frightening.
FALCON — First Aid and Leadership (Ages 13-17)
Unlike the Discover, Explore, and Forensic Med program themes for younger kids, FALCON challenges teens to boost their confidence and self-esteem, improve communication and problem-solving skills, all while having fun and making new friends. In this First Aid Leadership Program, teens will learn life-saving skills and train for their Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification. Furthermore, this camp is a wonderful opportunity for budding leaders to engage in team-building challenges.
