Kaeja d’Dance returns for the 13th year of their pay-what-you-wish dance series Porch View Dances, an outdoor event held in Toronto’s historic Seaton Village neighbourhood, which explores the healing power of play and features a series of short performances danced by everyday people. This year’s program is curated by Japanese-Canadian artist Mayumi Lashbrook, with pieces created by Toronto dancemakers that centre on themes of playfulness and joy as a counterpoint to our world’s increasing strife.
