Toronto Caribbean Carnival (FKA Caribana) is a spectacular display of costumes, music and culture, with three weeks worth of events culminating in the Grand Parade on August Long weekend. First, families celebrate the Junior King and Queen Showcase where young masqueraders compete in stunning costumes in Scarborough, along with the free Junior Parade, then the Grand Parade takes over Exhibition Place on August 3rd, and lastly, the free Pan In D’ Park event features top steel bands, DJs, Calypso artists and a marketplace for family fun the next day.
