The Mississauga Festival of Trees is a unique new winter event this holiday season! Its aim is to bring joy to visitors, re-engage the community and support the arts and culture sector. It’s all happening at the beautiful Small Arms Inspection Building, a historic venue along the lakeshore in Mississauga.

The festival celebrates the winter season and the cultural diversity of Mississauga. It showcases art installations, seasonal lights, contemporary tree and woodpile art installations, and artisan and culinary markets. Also, community workshops, entertainment and performances will run throughout the festival dates.

Special Event:

December 19 – Ally Loves Pajamas: Family PJ Party⠀⠀
The Ally Loves Pajamas: Family PJ Party features the book launch of local Mississauga author and illustrator Christina & Paul Somers, offering an afternoon of fun and entertainment for families with children (primarily for 4-7 year olds).

You can even meet Ally herself! (She happens to be the authors’ daughter and inspiration for their story.) View a live performance of Ally Celebrates Pajamas, and step inside set designs that capture pages from the book for an interactive experience.

Enjoy a sing-a-long and story time session, and participate in a Colouring Pajama Design Contest for your chance to win prizes. Bring the whole family, put on your pajamas, and join the Family PJ Party!
