The Movie Theatre Association of Canada (MTAC) welcomes moviegoers across the country to celebrate National Cinema Day, an annual special event for audiences of all ages to enjoy a day at the movies with discounted admission. For one day only, 3,000 locations with more than 30,000 screens are participating across North America, including Canadian chains Cineplex, Galaxy Cinemas, Imagine Cinemas, Landmark Cinemas, Playhouse Theatres, SilverCity Cinemas and also many local independent theatres.
