This March Break, your kids can fly into a week-long camp at the Toronto Circus Centre (TCC), where there’s something for every junior circus star in training! In this thrilling and creative day camp, the participants spend five full days fully immersed in the circus arts, including jumping, spinning and flying together. Needless to say, they’ll be laughing together too!

Students get to try out all the different apparatus, such as aerial trapeze, hoop, rope and silks. On the floor, there’s also juggling, floor and partner acrobatics, and clowning to round out the full experience. You’ll be surprised and impressed by how much they can achieve and how many circus skills your kids will learn in such a short time.

During the March Break camp, new students learn the basics while the more experienced junior acrobats add to their circus repertoire. However, there’s no need to be shy because everyone is welcome and children do not need to have any previous circus class experience. As such, the coaches guide each camper on their learning path, depending on their personal skills and comfort level. During the lessons, kids try every type of apparatus to ensure a balanced experience. Therefore, every child can find something new to pique their interest and discover their favourite activity!

March Break Camp 2024

Kids can step right up and run away with the circus this March Break with a week full of fun at Toronto Circus Centre! This camp is ideal for both active and creative kids and youth aged 4½ up to 13. (Note: Campers need to be turning 5 in 2024 to qualify.) The full-week program also offers extra circus arts activities so kids get plenty of exercise while still having fun in a non-competitive environment. TCC camps take place indoors at their comfortable and newly renovated gym, and camps do more indoor and even outdoor activities throughout the week (weather permitting).

Participants tumble, swing, climb, juggle and clown around in this March Break Camp that runs Monday to Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm (though single-day options are available on request). While they practise the different apparatus, they also develop an exciting show through the guidance of the centre’s skilled and trained circus professional staff. These coaches are also professional circus artists who love working with children while inspiring the up-and-coming circus stars with their passion for this creative performance art.

Finally, the week’s many activities conclude in a FREE end-of-week show for friends and family at the end of the camp week (on Friday at 4:00pm). In it, the kids demonstrate what they have learned. It’s a show that parents and loved ones won’t want to miss!

If your child is participating with a friend, TCC would be pleased to accommodate a request to group them together. While all the kids play together in the same gymnasium, the camps group children with peers in their age range and skill level. For the convenience of working parents, before and after care is also available.
