The Kid2Kid Kids’ Marketplace is back for its third year at the Beaches Recreation Centre, raising funds for the Red Door Family Shelter in Leslieville. This family-friendly and pet-friendly indoor/outdoor market features over 100 youth vendors, featuring goods all made by kids aged 4-12!
Come out and join the Beaches community, which loves this special event! This lively market also features plenty of local entertainment and activities, including a silent auction with goods and services from local businesses, playful photo opportunities, face painting and more. Then, don’t miss grabbing some yummy BBQ from the popular Fearless Meat pop-up restaurant and see live music by Sugar Rush Band and dance performances by Abanico Dance.

Youth entrepreneurs from across Toronto, ranging in age 4 to 12 years old, are proud to customize their tables and showcase their handmade goodies, such as crafts, gift ideas and snacks! Guests can shop from a diverse variety of items, including:
- Food — Cupcakes, snow cones, cotton candy
- Fun gifts — Pokémon products, slime, activity kits, toys and games, books
- Crafts and Home Goods — Crochet creations, key chains, wooden crafts, décor
- Beauty products — Lip balms, jewellery, bath products
- Apparel and accessories
- And more!
About Kid2Kid
The Kids’ Marketplace is hosted by Kid2Kid, a Toronto-based non-profit organization helping children spread kindness through volunteer initiatives. This yearly youth-focused market serves as an inspiring way for kids to foster their entrepreneurial spirit while also supporting charities that directly impact children in need. In fact, at the end of the event, vendors donate 50 percent of their profits to the Red Door Family Shelter, a local charity providing safe, temporary refuge and support to women, children and families in crisis. Through market sales, silent auction proceeds and donations from area sponsors and vendors, the Kid2Kid Kids’ Marketplace has raised over $27,000 for Red Door Family Shelter in just its first two years!
“Everyone is invited to come out and support the entrepreneurial dreams of these amazing kids, alongside all of our valued partners, sponsors and volunteers who help make this event happen,” said Shah Ruby, co-founder of Kid2Kid.
“It’s incredibly inspiring and heartwarming to see all the hard work our youth vendors put into creating their displays and goods, and we are so grateful to all the people who take the time to come out to support them,” added Caroline Thomson, co-founder of Kid2Kid. “Kid2Kid is all about getting kids involved with volunteerism and giving back to children in need, and our Kids’ Marketplace is a wonderful way to see this generosity in action.”
