The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Toronto is the largest Irish event in Canada. Head down to the parade on March 11th to enjoy the music of marching pipe bands, watch cheerful Irish dancers, and catch flying candy from elaborate floats. Be sure wear green and a party mood at this family-friendly event. The parade runs through the heart of Toronto and begins on the corner of Bloor Street and St. George Street. The parade will head east on Bloor Street, turn south on Yonge Street and finally turn west on Queen Street, finishing at the parade reviewing stand at Nathan Phillips Square From any given point along the route, the parade will last roughly one and a half hours.
