Parlez-vous français? Your kids can do just that this summer with Alliance Française Toronto Summer Camps! Kids aged 5-13 are invited to enjoy fun summer camps specializing in sports and the arts, while also keeping up with their language skills on their school vacation — and welcoming beginners too.
At Alliance Française Toronto’s locations in downtown Toronto and Mississauga, campers can enjoy playing soccer and unleash their creativity through exciting artistic activities. Whether they want to run on the pitch, step into the spotlight with musical theatre, or revisit classic drama, they can go on a French adventure to “learn the language (and) live the culture”.
Bienvenue à Alliance Française Toronto Summer Camps!
Do you want your child to have plenty of dynamic, engaging, and fun cultural experiences this summer — en français? With the help of entertainers, artists, and craftspeople, as well as athletes, these camps will make their school vacation unforgettable. Each camp program includes language activities and fun practices in French. So, give your child the extraordinary experience of a French-speaking environment to help them improve their linguistic abilities through a variety of activities.
In the morning, participants have fun with French Immersion lessons, including lively sessions where everyone plays, creates, and learns language skills and communication. At other times, kids take time to unwind, such as relaxing with books or games in the library, enjoying fresh air in the park, and sharing lunch with their new friends. Additionally, groups dive into the hands-on workshops in sports and art, all led by artists and specialized instructors who share their passion!
Musical Camp (5-11 years old) – Toronto & Mississauga
In this musical camp, artistic children can sing, dance, and express themselves with lessons based on cultural and historical themes. This summer, the camp revisits classic fairy tales! Three hours are dedicated to their craft each day, where the campers collaborate on a dynamic performance. At the same time, the instructors help them develop their teamwork, creativity, and confidence. Finally, the camp experience culminates in a special show performed for parents!
Soccer Camp (7-13 years old)
Does your young soccer player want to be the next Kylian Mbappé or Thierry Henry? Here, they can play, practise French, and build their confidence on the field with professional coaches. This unique experience is more than just a soccer camp! Led by Foot IQ founder Pepy Malonga, soccer becomes an educational tool to guide young people as they develop essential skills and thrive, both on the field and in life. Combining lessons on both gameplay techniques and personal development, this program features team games and exciting game challenges where kids improve both their soccer and French skills, push their academic limits, and have fun! Bien sûr!
Drama Camp (8-11 years old)
Create, rehearse, and perform! This French immersion camp lets beginner actors explore the art of theatre and stagecraft. By reimagining a classic French play, campers let their creativity flow, writing their own dialogues and developing the story. Then, they present the show to their parents and loved ones in a final performance in a real theatre!
