Downsview Park hosts the outdoor educational program “Teachings from the Land”, where Carolynne Crawley, from Msit No’kmaq and Turtle Protectors, focuses upon breaking down ways of thinking that can separate people from the Earth through Indigenous perspectives. Through sensory experiences and stories about the beings living on the lands and waters, we can practicing ways to support our own wellbeing and strengthen our relationship with Mother Earth.
