Durham Carifest celebrates the diversity and culture of the Caribbean Region with a fun, one-day festival, as part of the Carnival City event that runs from July 27—August 7. Enjoy learning about the uniqueness of the region through traditional and contemporary Caribbean arts and culture. Durham Carifest promotes the vibrant and inclusive Caribbean Community that contributes to the success and growth of Durham Region.
For the kids and the kids at heart, don’t forget to check out the kid’s zone, where the youngest amongst us can let loose and have fun. The sight, sounds, taste and feel of everything that is Carifest tugs at the heart strings with a feeling of nostalgia while at the same time celebrating the proud collective identify of the Caribbean people.
