Are your creative kids looking to have a *sweet* summer? At the Le Dolci Summer Baking Camp in the west end’s family-friendly Junction neighbourhood, budding chefs can have a delicious time attending educational and interactive baking classes.
Ideal for kids aged 7-11, the weeklong sessions of Summer Kids Camp at Le Dolci Culinary Classroom feature a range of memorable and imaginative baking experiences. Projects include making classic treats such as layer cakes and cookies, plus kids also learn how to decorate their exciting creations with style, worthy of becoming a viral social media post!
But since it’s summer, the camp leaders ensure the mini chefs don’t stay cooped up in the kitchen all day! Daily activities include meditation and stretching exercises each morning, and music and outdoor activities.
Summer Kids Camp at Le Dolci (Ages 7-11)
Kids who need a creative baking outlet this summer can become pastry chefs for a week at Le Dolci’s Culinary Camp! Kids and tweens who love to bake and decorate can make a variety of delicious treats while having lots of fun too. All lessons are led by an expert team of pastry chefs at its gorgeous Toronto studio in the Junction.
Summer Kids Camp at Le Dolci delivers a delectable education for mini chefs all week! Starting each Monday, the campers plan out their menu ideas, then start thinking like a real professional, including marketing and pricing. Then, as they continue baking throughout the week, they also work on displays and signage.
Finally, on Friday, the chefs host a bake sale! The participants sell their baked goods for their parents and neighbours to enjoy, with the proceeds going to the nearby George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre. Last year, the bakers raised $1500 for charity and the kids had a blast!

- Day 1: Garbage Cookies & Cinnamon buns
- Day 2: Twisted breads & Fondant figurines
- Day 3: Comic slice cake & Fondant figurines
- Day 4: Build a focaccia garden & Royal icing sprinkles
- Day 5: Carved heart rainbow cake & Homemade sprinkles

Weekly Fee:
$625.00 for five-day camps
$500 for four-day camp (August 6-9)
Early drop-off and/or late pick-up from 8:00am-4:00pm available, at NO additional cost
Daily Activities:
- Hands-on baking lessons
- Snacks and delicious lunches are provided
- Meditation and stretching each morning
- Music and outdoor activities
- Campers run a bake sale on Friday afternoon, with proceeds going to a charitable organization
About Le Dolci Culinary Classroom
Founded by Lisa Sanguedolce, Le Dolci Culinary Classroom is run by a talented team of pastry chefs who host a wide range of baking and decorating classes, both in-person and online. Events for adults and children include workshops, classes, private parties, corporate events, as well as kids’ birthdays.
