Supported by the City of Toronto and Desjardins Financial Group, this travelling skate lending crew provides residents with all the equipment necessary to have fun on the ice. Throughout the winter months (Friday-Sunday and Family Day), the program visits different rinks all over the city – check out the full schedule here.

The outdoor downtown venue RendezViews presents WinterViews, a new skating experience that is like a cottage retreat in a winter wonderland, including cabana rentals!

The Waterfront BIA: Free Hot Chocolate at Sherbourne Common Ice Rink
When: January 13 – February 10, 2024
Join the Waterfront BIA for a family-friendly afternoon of skating, including free music and hot chocolate supplied by Café le Neuf.
Hangar Skate
When: January 19 – March 17, 2024
Hangar Skate is a free pop-up skating rink, outside an airplane hangar at the Hangar District in Downsview, featuring immersive light shows in the evenings, DJ Skate Nights and free skating lessons.
Evergreen Brick Works: DJ Skate Nights
When: January 20 – February 17, 2024
Party on the ice at Evergreen Brick Works with their free weekly DJ Skate Nights, where you can skate in this beautiful and historical park setting while DJs spin fun music, plus food vendors, lawn games, s’mores and firepits, and more.

Downtown Yonge BIA: Skates And Sounds

Downtown Yonge BIA hosts a month of skating parties with Skates And Sounds, including DJs, family activities, fire pits and free skate lending.
